Hi
i love touchsensors :o !!!
thanks for this Thorsten you change my way of life !! 8)
with this test board, i can make toms rolls or phat breakbeats
with only one finger, and a small circular movement !! :o
BUT… :-\
when i touch two sensors in the same time, i heard one or the other sound randomly.
is there a way to have touchsensors acting like buttons ??? (polyphonic?)
I wish that it be possible by any means…Â
i’m sorry the touchsensors are already polyphonics !!!
Great ;D
Thanks very much Thorsten, you change my music.
hey, what is this that you’re demonstrating? i want to build one!!!
do you have any design info or a schematic you could post?
thanks
Yes, please share this with us!
If the notes seem erratic and the pads are definitely not triggering erratically then you might need to look at the code that is handling how the triggers send MIDI, although if you are using TK’s code as designed then I am sure that the code is OK.
I see you have a set of LED’s assigned to the pads, do they light up as expected, or do they jump around like the MIDI notes do?
i can share all things that you want…
but i have don’t understand some questions ??? (i’m french)
all that i can say for the moment is,
I have simply use the touchesensor fonction of the DIN (with 47k & pin 14…)
and made a copper board, that including the led for the DOUT
(useful for the Toggle Mode)
and copper for the DIN.
Sensors & Leds works perfectly !! and it’s the fastest way to trigger sounds
that i know !!! :o :o WOW!!
if i pressed two, three, four or more sensors at the same time, no problem
i received all the notes in Cubase, without any latency !!! great !!!
it’s definitively the heart of my future midibox, soon finished.
what exactly do you wanna know ? if i can help you…
here is a small video (without sound)
we can’t really imagine the ease of use with
this video, it’s a real pleasure. :-*
the three sensors of the bottom are in “toggle” mode
and the three on the top are in standard “hit” mode.

Now make a beat with my computer
is really easy like make it on a table :o
Cool!! Thankyou for the video! (Merci!)
This is a great idea.
This is working now? Or still jumping notes?
Let me know if I can help.
it works perfectly, thanks !! 8)
(it was a ground problem…)

We are waiting for a .mp3 example!
Best Regards, Thorsten.
no problem, probably tomorrow !!
did you buy this ?
or made it yourself ?
if u made it by yourself … HOW ??
i have made it.
simply draw the layout with Eagle.
and use the copper side for both components
& sensors.
it cost about 6 €uros, (it’s just my testing board)
Board, Leds, Resistors, that’s all
(if you already have the perchlorure, etc…)
it’s more clear ?
ok.. i understand that, but to be more specific:
how did u made the " sensors " ?
no thats not what i meant
i want to know how u made the “buttons” = the things u touch = the 6 triangles = the sensors
i want to know how u made the “buttons” = the things u touch = the 6 triangles = the sensors
… well, that’s what’s left over after etching… the copper
lets see if i understand :
what i see in the picture/video is only ONE (=1) one-sided board u etched ?!
can u post the picture for the etching ?
why does the “buttons” look as if they are convex and on-top of a separate board ?
why does the “buttons” look as if they are convex and on-top of a separate board ?
… this comes from the camera lens. - Look at the PCB edges.

well that looks realy cool.
pehaps the pads should be tinned or something cos they might go green with all the touching
