Using JDM for burning 16F88 PIC used in IIC module?

The subject says it all:

I find the new IIC MIDI Module very attractive  ;D and I would like to build one of those MIDI routers - but I am still using the JDM (and it works flawlessly on my system). Do I need to switch to the MBHP Burner in order to use this adapter http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_burner_16f88_adapter.pdf, or can I also use the programming adapter in my JDM burner to burn the smaller 16F88 PIC (I already have four of them  ;D)??

I`m not using my JDM any more, so I cannot test it. But it should work. Please report here if you were successful…

Just to inform anyone who is afflicted by doubts - It works.

JDM (with PIC16F88 adapter => http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_burner_16f88_adapter.pdf) + PICgm (even autodetection is functional  :slight_smile: ).

For anyone who’s still in doubt - depending on your burner it might as well work without an adapter (with mine for instance) :wink:
