Using detended encoders from alps

Hi, I’m gathering a parts list for my midibox seq.

I wonderd if it’s ok to use detended encoders that deviate from the 24 detends. The alps encoder im looking at now has 30 detends and a push-switch(nice for the fast button :wink: ) Do the 30 detented encoders work straight away or do i need to reconfigure some files? Also does it have a positive or negative effect that it has 6 more detends per rotation?(editing wise?)

30 or 24 don´t matter to much. You won´t check the difference.

Normally you should be able to use them right away. No problem.
