Rapid LED Illuminated switches

Hi guys,

I’m about to order all of my led switches (100 of them), and so far, I though of going with these:

However, I have been eyeing these from rapid:

Has anyone ordered these?  Are the caps soft?  If so, that’s what I want to go with.  I would just order a sample of course, but the shipping is like $70 even just for one switch lol

Also, is it being DPDT a problem?  I thought we should be using SPST.

Have you priced the NKK’s yet? I think you might be surprised at the difference :wink: (although they are tacts so it shouldn’t be too bad)

I doubt the caps will be soft on either of these. In fact, that would be such a special feature that I’d say you’ll be made well aware of it if they are.

The caps are hard plastic.

Also there are a few types of switches supplied by rapid, make sure you get the momentary ones.

aha ok, I’m just gonna stick with the NKK’s then, since I have already tested them.

The NKK ones are $2.30, while these are $1.78.  But with shipping, the order total comes out to be the same.
