Possible a lcd display with 6-8 rows?

checked around for more than 2 hours (no info found)

about possibility to drive a 6-8 rows lcd display

with midibox hardware

please somebody have some info about ?

Compatibility mostly depends on the LCD driver. Could you please provide a datasheet about the display you would like to connect?

You can always use a GLCD. A 128x64 can display quite a few rows depending on the font you use (small 3x5 font, 2 pixel row spacing = 9 rows or the “regular” 5x7 font with 2 pixel row spacing = 7 rows).

The first one you linked has a T6963C controller. Now you need to figure out if it’s supported by MIOS yet. Go to ucapps.de and check under “LCD module”.

i’m checking tons of pages about midibox …

(unfortunately not so fast …)

my “target” is verify if is possible make a midibox as remote synth programmer" control

with much parameters as possible showed in more then 1 lcd display (like “ma-ckie” c4 control)
