Finally got round to doing a tune with my sammichSID. Was up at a Fence Records festival in St Andrews, Scotland this week, and before I went decided to do a cover of one Fence Records head honcho The Pictish Trail’s tunes. Hope you enjoy it!
That’s a nice way of using the SIDs! No other synth sounds quite like it

I love the Sammich! I shared that about a few of my friends and the looks on their faces when I told them what powered the synth was brilliant. I like the fact it has its own character - things that sound good on other synths don’t translate to the SID, and equally things that sound great on the SID don’t sound good on other synths. Character > generic options any day of the week.
