I’m hoping someone can point me in the direction of the correct ethernet port part to used with the LPC17 board on the SEQ4 project. I’ve purchased 2 ethernet sockets so far and neither has aligned properly to the PCB (the pin orientation is correct but some of the extra through-hole points do not align). I’m hoping to order the part via Digikey so I would appreciate if someone could point me to a specific correct part that they sell. Thank you!
It’s a MagJack SI-60024-f - digikey #380-1117-ND
Make sure you get the right one - the pinouts can be pretty different on different eth jacks. (edit: haha - rereading your post, I see you made the same mistake I did by ordering substitutes thinking the pinouts would be the same. Mine fit the board, but I soon found out that even jacks with identical pin configurations can have different pinouts. The SI-60024-f is the correct part.)
