Hello All;

 

I am a newbie here. I have been scouring the site and this forum for a while, just need to ask a few questions.

 

I am planning on building a 24 channel control surface. All it needs to have are 24 motorized faders, solo and mute buttons, with LED to visually show status or lighted buttons.

 

So I believe this is what i need to get going:

 

MBHP_CORE_LPC17

LPCXPRESSO

3 x MBHP_NG_MF Modules

 

I believe that I will need  DIN for the buttons? can I hook up 3 to one core module?  Do I need a DOUT for the LED’s?

welcome here!

 

For buttons you will need a DIN module, for LEDs you will need a DOUT module. I’d suggest to go for the STM32F4Discovery board and its MBHP core board instead of LPCXPresso and MBHP_CORE_LPC17, because there has been a revision of the LPCXPRESSO by the manufacturer, in which the pin layout was changed, rendering the core board (almost) unusable. The new STM32F4 Discovery is also more powerful.

Just to clarify, The STM32F4 will handle 3"MF" modules? And I would need 3 each of the DIN and DOUT boards??
