My SeqV4L in Matte black acrylic

the ponoko friendly eps file is in the first post

I can add the altered eps file to the wiki. So people are able to use the standard switches.

Edit:

Added the wikipage: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=midibox_seq4l

I am trying to laser this case from Altitude for my V4L but it just will not fit. Was there a differences in placements for the original and MKII? Is this case specifically for MKII? I could not find the modified one posted by Shuriken above anywhere.

Here is the problem I am having:

I will try to find the zip file I posted on my laptop. As it seems to be missing from the forum now.

Hi Shuriken, I just checked the original post but the zip file you posted was 0 bytes.

Formulor still had the EPS file from 2013 in my order

Let me know if you can download it.

@6040 Altitudes panel is using different switches (e.g. not the default ones) hence the line up issue.

With this panel i already succesfully build a Seq4l.

Thanks I was able to download, but it has the same problem. I suspect there must be a layout difference between the original and the MKII version. Was your pcb the MKII version?

I tried to align the holes for the spacer and while it sort of fits in the left, this is how it is on the right.

I bought two sets of PCB at the same time. So the one you bought should be the same as the previous one. Where do you see MK2?

Maybe I am doing something wrong then. Inkscape will not open the eps file so I had to use an online converter to make an svg out of it. The dimension look right for the case in general. Just the holes will not line up properly.

I just found this MKII and thought maybe that is the difference:

Well the PCB you have is from 2013, so definitely not MK2.

The old forum still has the finished pictures: https://midibox.org/forums/gallery/image/2227-seq4l-finished/

Looks like originally it was 448.31 kB. But if you download it, it’s 0 kb. So must have been broken in an upgrade of the old forum.

Thanks I went with your file in the end. Inkscape must have changed the import of pdfs somehow. Because it did resize the pdf on import without asking. That is why it did not line up. I used to do this loads in the past and never had this problem.

I have a minor problem with the cutouts on the back, which are very close to the bottom. I either have to very neatly clip all things on the bottom of the pcb or raise them by 1 or 2 mm. No I am just waiting for the switches to arrive, to finish this beauty.
