modulable SEQ and BLM (separate)

HI all,

I have a question, i recently add my name on the SEQV4 bulk order, and after i will build it, i would to built a BLM, but i have a question :

Do you think i’s possible to separate the BLM like a plug: for exemple when you want to use your SEQV4 without BLM you just unplug a box with the BLM and you could use the SEV4 “alone”, and if you want you “re-plug” the BLM and you could use like normal SEQV4 and BLM.

I’m sorry for my bad english, but i hope you will understand my question !

This is already possible, as the BLM is connected to SEQ via MIDI.

(I’m not sure if it’s possible to hot-plug, you may need to reboot SEQ)

ok ! nice ! i’m quite impatient that i could build my own SEQV4 !

It is possible to separate the BLM from MBSEQ with a plug, I’m doing this as well! :slight_smile:

See the socket at the right side of the rear panel:

The BLM can be connected/disconnected during runtime and will be automatically detected, no need to reboot the sequencer.
