hey guys,
a new project thingy.. a small project.. its a keyboard.. no velocity.. just a scan matrix.. but with proportions i cant really wrap my head around..
its a 5x12 matrix. so i would need either 2 dout chips or 2 din chips..
right now im trying to break down the system.. but there are just a lot of unknowns..
ill keep try to keep this here thread updated and try to make it a reference point for other users of the scan matrix.

below you will see the button matrix as is.. what i now need to know is how to connect it correctly to the dins and douts..
and it needs to be tiny.. cuz the casing i have is very small..
