This new midi/surface controller has really nice buttons and knobs. I just got it tonight. Waiting 3 months for it. 
donāt want to be cruel but it seems a bit nonsense to me to post pics of a serial made midi controler on a messageboard that is meant to make something like this by yourself.
not to mention it looks just like those ugly4$$ korg electribe-s, bleh
actually i was alwasy jealous that those big companies have access to parts not available commonly like nice illuminated buttons or faders.

.. now of course we are not .. well i am not (just speak for myself) in war against M-audio or other major mass destruction MIDI controller producers (yes there was some political irony in it) still it s nice to see what what is the latest thingy coming out of the market, maybe a source for inspiration and new ideas, they also got some good stuff.And well it s always a pleasure to see some backlit buttons..

I like those buttons, and would use them if it would be possible to a. aquire them and b. have a frontpanel made for them - schaeffer does not make weird shaped holes so you have to have the panel drawn by someone whoās good with CAD, not me.
To think of it, I still have some Waldorf buttoncaps lying around, maybe Iām going to use those after all 8)

Big synth manufacurers do not provide their spareparts lightly. In the past someone here on the forum managed to get some Waldorf spareparts. The knobs TK uses on his SID for example. I have never heard of any other succesful attempts.
given the large scale amount of electribes and their hands on nature, I bet they store large stock of these colourful pimples : )))
But accessing those stocks could prove to be quite difficult. Canāt tell without trying though, but Iām not going to.
of course vintage stock is long gone, but stuff for the electribe has to be there for some time.
i believe i have seen those knobs (or similar) on a midibox. does anybody know where to get them?
