Korg Poly6 Midification - Where do I start

I’m still a Midibox newb, but I’ve now got 1.6 projects under my belt, and I’d love to try and midify my Korg Poly6, and eventually a Jupiter 4.. But as i’ve read briefly that someone has been able to midify a P6 already, I’d like to start there.

So… Where do I start? I understand the concept of the keyboard matrix, but how do I use that information to go ahead and midify something.. write the code etc?

What sort of information should I be gathering?

Or is this too a big project for my newb midibox brain?
