Up for grabs is a clone of the EMU DWAM board (Model 6862) for the EMU Ultra series of samplers. It provides the ASCII port for connecting an ASCII keyboard to the sampler, a second set of MIDI ports, Wordclock in and out ports as well as AES/EBU ins and outs. Also included ist the AES chip that must be fitted into the socket on the Ultra series’ mainboard.

This is a rare item, 6862 boards have been sold out long ago, which is the reason why I built this in the first place. It is 100% compatible with the original.

No, the DWAM board is only compatible with the Ultra series samplers, not the classic ones.
