first SID now begins to rock!!!

Hi everyone!

Assembled the first SID-module and recorded straight away… ;D

Just ONE track of ONE monophonic SID! (added a little stereo-delay)

Drums coming from sampler.

a very characteristical SID tune, maybe a little bit too much compressor Fx, but I like it!

i love compression up to 0.5dB dynamic range. ;)

I’m not really satisfied with the filters.

I tried different caps…

* the 470pF (Styroflex) - quite no filter audible…

* replaced it by 1nF (Kerko) - very muffled sound, few and unstable resonance…

…will try the original caps of the C64 box…

Any suggestions witch capacitors are best?

MOS 6581 - [0483] (originally out of an unopened C64(1st version), MOS-Logo overpainted with a permanent marker… ::))
