Available ways to easily have a usb-c to MIDI adapter?

I have a couple midi boxes. I haven’t used them for a long time but I have two stereo SIDs and a MIDIBOX FM. One of the SIDS is a sammich but the other two are terrible bespoke ones with lots of space in the box. At this point I wonder if there is some small board that can be easily installed in the case and wired to the MIDI in order to have MIDI over usb-C?

Normally one cannot recommend the “all-integrated in one cable” USB MIDI interfaces as they often suffer from problems, i.e. with SysEx transfers.

But i like CME as a brand and haven’t tried this one yet:

On paper it should do what you want and it is not overly expensive at below 30€, maybe give it a try and report back?
