Due to a design change in my midibox I have 6 of the

Panasonic motor faders left.  These were never used.

Here is what I have:

Hi,

Im in need of 8 motor faders, but i live in sweden.

Problem? How much do you want for them?

Does this faders have touch sensors?

What is touch sensors used for? :slight_smile:

Hello,

You can email me privately with your mailing specifics and I will se what it will take to get these to you.

These are the Panasonic motorfaders which are not touch sensitive but Thorsten has made a great circuit available to accomplish this.

The touch sensitivity is useful when trying to change parameters while you have automation going.  it allows you to disengage the motor to make adjustments.

However, here a schematic of the touch sensor circuit which will be supported with the next MIDIbox MF version. In theory it could also work with other MIDIboxes as cheap button replacement, but this will not work until I’ve added the special charging pulse signal at Port J14

I may be dumb(probably), but how do i use this

circuit with the panasonic faders without toch sensors?

Dont know for sure as I havent played around with it yet (I have the panasonic faders), but it would appear you only need to add buttons

Although the Firmware seems to detect when you move the fader manually and switch off the fader (without touchsensor track) not perfectly but pretty well.
