Still got to put in feedback pots, and some kind of protection for the LCD.
Much thanks to Thorsten and Wilba. I’ve only just started scratching the surface of this thing, and am absolutely blown away by the possibilities.
The attached track uses mostly presets. All sounds are dry, no effects whatsoever. I sampled most of the stuff and sequenced it in Reason, because that’s what I’m used to working with…
Yes of course feel free to use it as you wish. I would feel very flattered and honoured if it appeared on the main MBSID page. It’s like the first step to stardom :hyper:
Congratulations! Good to see another Aussie finish one… also shows how slack I’ve been, I still haven’t finished the 2nd one like this (the 1st is in Munich now).
I used a piece of translucent grey 3mm acrylic between the LCD and the panel. You can just cut it roughly and glue it to the back of the panel… no need to get fancy and laser cut it.
I think I will recycle a piece of clear CD case to use as LCD cover, in the way Wilba suggested. This won’t be for a little while though as I am currently very busy with house renovations, house selling, a training course, and starting my own business…
