Verification for lay-out aout

Hi…

For those who have some electronic -background i have a question.

Could someone verify the lay-out given here (made in eagle), is allright (although it’s only one)…?

That’s all …

Thanks in advance…

Zzzz…

just double checking this…in this way

And who checks the AOUT schematic???

Just yesterday I found another bug (Ry/R_p have to be connected to E-!)

New version can be found here:

http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_aout.pdf

And there is now also a small extension for a balanced CV output (e.g. -5..5V)

Best Regards, Thorsten.

Hi Thorsten…

I am not getting, what you mean by  saying:

(Ry/R_p have to be connected to E-!)

This is as normally to my lack of knowledge in electronics, but could you simply the sentence by the board I’ve made. There something with the resistors connected to the LM324, but what is the difference between the real old .pdf and the newest .pdf?

By the way is my board totally crappy or do I only have the make some small adjustments?

Thanks in advance…

Erik…

Probalby no one is checking…

???  :'(

In the lower left, the 10k resistor does not appear to be connected to anything,it should coonect to 5v at one end, and near the 10nf cap connected to pin6 of the max 525. it looks like it was placed a little too far left.

I didn’t notice anything else, but that is not to say for sure it isn’t there.

Good luck, and please share this file when it is tested

Thorsten, what is balanced cv for? I don’t think I’ve heard of this before?

I would go for multiturn trimmer´s (spectrol), just in case you need very accurate cv´s.

chriss

Chriss’ hint is very important - in my own MBHP_AOUT layout I will take care about multiturn trimmers, because it’s too difficult to calibrate the output voltage with a common pot.

Balanced outs: thats a new feature especially for synths with -4V/4V inputs (like Kobol).

I will add some more words about this extension once I find the time! (currently I’m very busy@work, so - not before end of next week…)

This extension isn’t required for common analogue synths, so just ignore it if you haven’t heart about balanced CVs before.

Best Regards, Thorsten.

Ok, cool.Thanks TK.
