usb Trackball to MIDI Interface

hi Folks

for a project of myself i need to have a translating interface that generates MIDI CC Codes out of the Movement of a USB optical Trackball.

The Trackball is needed top be used as a Mouse in Win XP but also should generate MIDI CC Messages that can be used in my MIDI Environment.

Any Thoughts and Suggestions?

I`m not into building MIDI Stuff therefor the Question is if anyone could build / program me such a Device.

I tried different software-solutions but all of them were not satisfying.

“rejoice” is a little program that might fullfill your desire without midibox.

glovepie also is nice … not as easy as some of the other ones like rejoice
