usb questions

hi!

iÂ´m thinking about build usb molude after a finish my midibox 64.it has 2 midi in …could i use bothof them??could i let stuffed optoacouplers when iÂ´m not using midi ins?? it look like i couldnÂ´t

Not sure if I understand your question?

But yes the USB module has 2 useable midi in’s

If you are not using them you can still leave the opto’s in place.

How to connect the USB module is stated very good on the UCApps page. (Those five pics there).

So: If you make a direct link to the Midibox (over the MBLink) you mustnÂ´t (!) stuff the optocouplers (baaad short circuit) I think. If you just use the normal INs and OUTs use those optocouplers (preferred solution due to maximum flexibility).

iÂ´ll give you an example:

i want to conect with usb module my midibox64(conected internally to the core using j11) and 2 midi keyboards…can i do this?

and another question:

when i dont use midi inputs…optocouplers can be stuffed or not??
