I´m just started training to desolder smd chip… 
A question:How hot shall the soldering iron be??
I got an weller ws50, 150 to 450 celsius…
how hot is to hot for the small inocent smd´s?? ;D

I’m normaly using ca. 320°C on my soldering station, more than 350°C could be dangerous for the SMD

Just delsolder 2 YAC´s and 2 YMF´s…
I just put my old soundblaser upsidedown in the microwen for 5 min..full effect…JUST KIDDING… ;D
I found a method that worked for me..
I put an really really thin cable (I just use one of many small cables in one cable, Hmmm did anyone understand that???) ;)
I didn´t…(sometimes the english don´t work for me ;) )
Anyway, I put that cable around each leg..warm up the leg for like 1 sec and pull.
I can tell you that it took a while, but it´s worth it!!
I didn´t use an solder sucker.
And the soldering iron just 220°C
