Take Bar (lever) for a video controller ?

Hi all,

Looking for a take bar (aka “t-bar” lever) for a video controller. I can’t find any such component on the internet. Maybe someone had seen one somewhere ?

Thanks for the help. Didier.

;D

Why don’t you build one by yourself? I think this shouldn’t be too hard.

Yé. That is what i meant too!  :-\

Do you have an idea of how to build one ? Using a slider or a pot ?

Didier.

I thought of building one also since I have never seen T-bar to buy. I had an Idea using lever to transfer radial movement to horizontal movement of very short slider. It shouldn`t be longer than 30mm if you want standard size T-bar. I think it is not problem to make it work properly but to look good. It must be something out there you can convert to T bar but I dont have a clue what should it be.

hey didier

i was given a cheap video mixer a couple of weeks a go

it came straight out of the box and it has four t-bars on it see photos

i didnt work out the values of the pots but if you want i can desolder one and send it to you for the cost of the postage

regards kris

Hi Kris!

That would be great. I’m living in Paris/France.

Do you have a paypal so that i can pay you the postage charge ?

I give you my mail address by private message.

Regards. Didier

Kris, you the man… showing this pictures was extremely helpful! The construction is much simpler and compact than I expected. I don`t need any lever to move the slider pots at all… this slot in the lower part of T-bar  is a way to go. So trivial! Thank you very much.

…it always was. thanks again mate.

I might build soon one VJ controller to play with. I wanted to do it long time ago but wanted to be proper, and making these T-bars was keeping me off. Now it shouldn`t be a problem.
