Switches with built in LEDs ?

Hi guys.

Do any of you know where I can get some switches with a built in LED ?

I have been searching the internet for hours but haven’t really come up with anything interesting.

Thanks in advance;

Kenneth A

A new builder from Copenhagen, Denmark !!

mec.dk

Goddag Kenneth

Yeah, mec are good… also some of the most expensive buttons out there! Personally I feel they are too springy/plasticey.

My mate got hold of a lit switch in Taipei, I think the price was around 1-3 kroner a piece - around 10 kroner cheaper than a mec.dk alternative  ::slight_smile: I hope he goes back there soon.

feel free to email me at awetterberg@post.cybercity.dk if you wanna hook up, by the way.

Hey !

Tak for svaret / Thanks for the replies.

I have been looking at mec.dk before I asked the question in here but they LOOKED expensive and I couldn’t find any prices or places to buy them .. soooo ..

But thanks again and I’ll get in touch with you Andreas when I start building which will be in a week or so !

by the way, check out http://www.alltronics.com/switches.htm - there are some Schadow ones about half-way down @ 1$ each, and some Omcron?s… I’m ordering parts from them in a few days, so if you want some in that same delivery let me know.

Andreas.

Hej igen Andreas.

Jeg har sendt dig en mail

Sorry for the danish guys !!

In Germany there switches available at:

Kessler

Order Numbers:

MS-661/GN (Black with green LED)

MS-661/RT (Black with red LED)

and

Conrad.de

DRUCKTASTER LED GRAUGRÜN

701181 - LN

(Grey with green LED)

DRUCKTASTER LED GRAUROT

701173 - LN

(Grey with red LED)

DRUCKTASTER LED SCHWARZGRÜN

701157 - LN

(Black with green LED)

DRUCKTASTER LED SCHWARZROT

701149 - LN

(Black with red LED)

It seems that the last two from Conrad are the same

as the ones you can get from Kessler (which are a little cheaper).

Only the blue body is a bit darker on the Kessler ones.

Kessler only stocks the black switches not the grey ones.

Hope this helps although the thread is more than 20 days old.
