my local electronic component dealer don’t have the 6n138 optocoupler. instead, he has some similar chip named 4n35, 4n32, 4n25
will they work???

the optocoupler can bought at Claudias Midi-Kit-Shop
http://www.mikes-elektronikseite.de/claudia.htm or at www.reichelt.de. The problem is, that the shipping costs at Reichelt are more expensive. But I think you can buy other components.
