Standard Keyboard Switches for MidiBOX SID buttons ?

I intent to use 5 keys of the C64 keyboard to act as the 5 LCD menu buttons.

Can I simply cannibalize the C64 keyboard swithc or do I have to get some other switch and put the ‘cap’ of the key on it ?
