Some questions about MIDIbox CV

Hi:

I´m about to build a MIDIbox CV using a AOUT module, as part of a modular

synth I´m building.

I have some questions:

1 - I want to add extra triggers using a DOUT as described here:

Will this mod work with version 1.2a of the MBCV firmware?

2 - Will this mod increase the latency of the MBCV?

3 - I read in a post that the AOUT PCB didn´t have the power connected to the

chips and it has to be done with wires. Can anybody confirm?.. and explain to

what chips.

Yes.

No(t noticeably).

3 - I read in a post that the AOUT PCB didn´t have the power connected to the

chips and it has to be done with wires.

* You’ll need to specify which AOUT board you are talking about, as there are three different ones: AOUT_NG, AOUT_LC and the “regular” AOUT.

* Could you link to the post you are talking about, please?

The AOUT I´m building is the regular AOUT with MAX525 DACs.

But I think I understand what TK means.

I should connect +12 and -12 to both pair of pins around th TL074s, right?
