SIL SOcket

The DIN module mentions “SIL Sockets”  for connecting switches.

My Google search and looking through Mouser, Digikey, Allied, etc. did not locate these sockets.

Does anyone know where I can buy a few in the US?

Thank you.

Hi,

You can find some here:

or

http://www.mouser.com :

Bye,

oups! single pins are better for switches! :

Thanks a lot.

But I am looking for a 5-pin SOCKET that plugs into these header pins.  The header pins come with the kits.  I need some sockets.

Mouser doesn’t give pictures so I need some one with experience there.

Have a look at http://www.futurlec.com/ConnHead.shtml,  they start half way down and are refered to as “Connectors for Headers - Single Row”.

One thing to note is that these are empty connector casings, so you’ll also need to buy the female pins further down the page, and getting hold of a crimping tool the right size is a good plan.

Hope this helps you,

Scuzzle

That’s wonderful news.  Just the right product.

Thanks so much.
