so i seem to only be able to control OSC 3 of the sid now. i am working on my max editor and when i attempt to switch the waveforms on OSC 1 or OSC 2 i get nothing. this wasn’t happening before. might i have set something wrong on the SID ? i am using cc 32 to switch all the waveforms and cc 33-35 to set the individual channels. any assistance is much appreciated.

the really odd thing is that if i turn the output WAY up i can hear the other 2 oscillators - but only under a huge cloak of noise. i am not yet storing patches in a bank stick so when i power down and then power up again shouldn’t all the settings reset back to the defaults ? have any such inconsistencies been reported with the SID chip ?
once again - this was all working fine before - and then one day it just “changed”… my filter still has never worked - but i am going to swap out the filter caps and see if i made a part error on that one.
