Is there any use for these Commodores that I’ve pulled the SIDs out of? I figured I’d ask here before putting them on ebay/craigs list.
I thought I’d mention in case you were not aware, but you could drop in SwinSID (http://www.swinkels.tvtom.pl/swinsid/) into those C64’s so that they can at least make noise. Of course, SwinSID can do a whole lot more than just server as a replacement SID but it could nonetheless be used in this capacity and might raise the resell value of those C64’s.

I’ve never been able to figure out a way to buy SwinSID, not that I want to.
I’ll give this thread a few days before I list the C64s elsewhere.
Maybe you can offer them to MSSIAH users who want to mod them or have a spare C64 lying around.
hmm…what good is a MSSIAH without the SID chip?
They’re SID freaks… they probably have more SIDs than C64s. Like me
