SID chips

Okay straight question , straight answer please

I want to build a midiboxsid , I was going to make a midibox64 but thought a synth would be more fun

I can see all the bits I need on mikes or smashtv’s shops

MY question is…do the kits from mikes come with SIDS included or do I need to find my own ?

They don’t come with SIDs.

Only crazy people like me sell SIDs.

I HIGHLY advise against that unless you know that your C64 had a 8580 (9V) sid
