This is my first post. To cut a long story short, my friend built a very nice SEQ for us quite a number of years ago. It did get some use at the time, but I have recently re-discovered it now that I can generate accurate MIDI clock using an Expert Sleepers ES3 & 5 combination.
I am really enjoying sequencing on the SEQ but have a few questions.
A) The beast currently has 1.8 firmware. What would be the latest that it might accept? (where would I get such a thing and instructions on how to go about it)
B) I can’t seem to find a version specific manual: Transpose and Hold Mode keeps doing unexpected things.
C) I gathering build experience on some simpler projects, I see you can get boards for the lite seq, but I would really want the CV and Gate expansions; will there ever be more boards for the V4 full?

I don’t remember that I ever released a 1.8 firmware.
MIDIbox V1 was based on a PIC16F877 - could you please look into the case and check the PIC type?

yes, the old documentations only show the latest state.
This has changed with MIDIbox SEQ V3 (and upwards), where the documentation is hosted on a subversion server, so that the history is available.
