Second MIDI IN

Hello

Please clarify for me HOWTO connect second MIDI IN ? Should I make full MIDIMerger as separate device, or I could I use RA4 pin of PIC18 as second MIDI IN, or something else ?

Well… i’m not sure, but for now i think your best option is to build the MidiMerger as a seperate device.

Midi in events are handled by MIOS and currently supports only one midi input.

I believe Thorsten has a 18F/mios version of the merger in his roadmap, but for now there is only the PIC16F firmware.

Thank you for your answer. There is some misunderstanding. It seems to me the phrase "J4 4 Interface to the BankStick for MIDIbox64 and MIDIbox16E. Interface to the second MIDI IN port for MIDImerger. " is unchanged since PIC 16 version of MidiBox.
