Programming PIC16F88 chip

I need to program a couple PIC16F88 chips for a new quad IIc midi module. I downloaded the mbhp_iic_midi_v1_0c.zip file containing the firmware. I’m trying to use a pickit 2 programmer to write the project.hex file to the chip. However, the programmer software reports that it cannot read the hex file. Is there a way to burn the software on these chips using pickkit?

There is a problem with white spaces in the file. Try this project.hex, or remove them yourself and it should be ok.
