Problem with Core/SID : big noise on SID output

Hi all !

I’ve got a problem with my Core/SID … the audio out only delivers a big noise !

I did the testtone test and it works fine : no noise, just the square wave - Voltage are ok too.

Also, I have a spare core module. I did a test with it and it works fine (no noise, only good sound  :wink: ). This made me thinking that the problem is on the CORE module and not on the SID module.

I double checked, and double checked , and double checked … the core looks good … I’m lost !

PS : I’m running SID V1 not V2 with mios 1.9f

PS 2 : I haven’t done the Core.SID interconnection test … I will do it right now but I was wondering if I should keep the SID chip stuffed ?

The sil J2 were not correclty soldered … now I everything working perfectly !
