I have been wondering on the SID schematics that there is a pin for “Pot X” and “Pot Y”. What do they do? Does anybody have links to that info or just a simple answer?
cheers,
Tyree

Hi,
Originally those were used to read analog voltages from C64s joystick ports (Paddles ect.). Those have no use in MBSID. TK decided to use a simple one-way interface between CORE -> SID, so those inputs or any other registers from the SID can’t be read.
