This should be an easy answer, but I haven’t be able to find it: what screws would you use for the typical panel mount DIN connector? Example: http://www.mouser.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=161-0005virtualkey11180000virtualkey161-0005 .
I guess you’d need some nuts, too. Any ideas?

I recently used “size No. 6”, used for screw type pcb mounts

i bought some small ones that use an allen wrench. they look nice.
I think they all look ugly 
I always mount those panel mount connectors behind the pannel, so the screws are nicely in a counterbore of the pannel
