ive got my modules built for a traktor box
im just wondering if i run a 16f877 with old firmware are there any compatability problems with the usb module

No problems at all!
The USB module is “just” a MIDI-Interface (“converts” USB to MIDI).
It`s outputs and inputs are conform to the MIDI standards. So you can connect every MIDI device (or MIDIBox) you want ;D
