No LCD Backlight CORE 2-4???

Hi Everyone

I just turned on my in progress MB-6582 with the LCD set up to Core 1, looks great (bootup, ready, backlit LCD).

From Core 2-4 I see the boot up screen and ready but there is no backlight on the LCD, is this normal???

One Core 1, I measured pin 40 at approx 5.2V… Core 2-4 pin 40 outputs 0.something V… Is there something I am missing.

This is normal, I think. If you look carefully, you will notice there also isn’t a backlight brightness-adjust pot for cores 2>4.

Great, I figured as much but just wanted to be sure before I moved on. My 6582’s have not arrived yet and I still need to order my panels, encoders and push buttons but still plenty of work I can do on it.

Thanks again, I got the test tone uploaded, tested all my outputs and all is good. Now just wait for my SID’s to arrive and start buying the Control Surface parts I need.

Also I do not know where to put this in the forum but I have to say the kit I bought from Smash TV was the nicest put together kit I have ever seen. Pure class.
