i’m french so sorry for my english

just a few question :

if i make a MIDIbox FM Synth with only a core and an opl3 module , and i plug in my midi keyboard , i can just play one instrument , the piano in example ? can i change this in jsynthlib ?, it’s just “one” instrument only at once?

can i play a midifile come from a mac software with this setup (core+opl3 module) that contain 5 instrument and 1 drum kit ?

Hi.

I don’t know much about the Midibox FM (never built one) but according to the manual, http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_fm_manual.html it supports 4 simultaneous instruments plus drums.

You could probably play your .mid file if not all 5 instruments are played at the same time by swapping instruments mid way through the song.
