Ok .. I love the C64 ..! and the SID …
So lemme ask .. this MIDIBox thing.. is a DIY controller, that you can also build a SID chip into to control VIA the panel eh ? So you have a SID box on one side (of the project spectrum), DIY MIDI controller on the other and in the middle a self contained SID synth right ?
I hope that’s the right impression.. ![]()
I also love the care and attention people are putting into their boxes.. It’s nice to see the C64s taken care of and appreciated rather than the hacked up “junk machines” all the experimental / indiustrial / noise guys are into..
And lastly, any of you PC pros out there .. I’m trying to put a mini ITX system into my C64C case .. I’d like to use the C64 keyboard , which can be wired into the parallel port of the ITX board, and I need a driver / program to interpret the C64s keyboard signals and translate those into the PC … Most people, I know.. do the hack where you use the PC keyboard on the C64. Well not me! I’d rather use the C64 one.. So if anyone knows anyone or anything regarding this, I’d be ever so grateful..
i mean it!
thanks!
