[MS8] An other Trakctor controller - Adding pics & videos

Hello everyone

I started a new project to control traktor and my idea is to have tactile contact.

I did a test with arduino and it works well but I can only have 5 input by atmega: / and I need 88.

I did some research and I think that xmega could do the trick but I do not know anything about electronics: /

Here is a first draft in attachment

I think this layer printed on transparent paper for laser printer and cover by pvc (1cm).

It also requires that I find a way to channel light from LEDs

My idea is to make a <___base_url___>/index.php?/topic/10400-scratch-wheel/&do=embed

You see something unattainable?

Can you advise me to touch the switch?

I’m all customer comments

Thank you very much

Edit : I find a name for my interface => MS8

It’s a smile to numark ns7 … MS are my initial

Please read the stickies, in this case especially: <___base_url___>/index.php?/topic/8327-please-read-before-posting-new-topics-what-is-a-user-project/&do=embed

Sorry and thank you for have move my topic

Ok,so my work start :

The interface :

Larger view of the mixer :

With the light effect (a simple leds for the moment) :

The test platform with an arduino :

The contacts (it’s simple pinned)

And to finish a

The idea :

Send a signal to a transistor instead a led and use this signal in input of a DIN

Problems :

I need about 80 capacitives sensors but with an arduino I can have only 5 :frowning:

I’ve think to use a arduino mega who have more I/O …

Have you an other idea for doing my all capacitive switchs ?

All suggest are welcom

I found good information here

What do you think about the first schematics please ?

How can I interface this with a DIN input ? a simple 2N2222 after the BC346 will be ok ?

Sorry I’m a noob in electronics;(

I just make some test with a simple BC 337 and it’s work good as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StshNHY_3E8.

Advantage :

Very low cost 7$ for 100 pieces

Inconvenience :

Need a direct contact

So for a price reason I think that I’ll use this BC337 solution.

Question :

How can I interface this with the DIN ?

Like that ?

I’ll don’t have some ground problems ?

Thank’s

Other question:

I’ll need 29 analog input, 100 digital input and 94 digital output.

So 1 AIN,4 DIN & 4DOUT

Can I connect all of them to only one core module ? (I’ve read lot of things and I’ve doubt)

Thank’s

I’ve just found a topic <___base_url___>/index.php?/topic/1927-quantum-sensors-for-din/page__p__12591__hl__capacitive__fromsearch__1&do=embed&embedComment=12591&embedDo=findComment

I’ve make some test for nothing but it’s a good new. I’ll don’t need other coponents

Maybe just a qt 110 for a metal plate under my vynils !

Any one could help me please ?

Yes.

Thank’s a lot for this confirmation
