I need more information to help me buy the right Rectifier. Im building the midibox plus using the new PCB.

Hi There
That rectifier is a surface mount. ( bridge rectifier )
Most come in at around 400 volt and around 1.5 amp
even though they look pretty small.
They have two sine wave markings on them, this is for AC voltage input. The + and - go as marked. You can’t go wrong.
You can apply DC voltage from your wallwart adapter to the AC connections of the rectifier with no damage.
Thorsten adds the rectifier to all voltage inputs to save you getting the polarity wrong and smokin your hard work.

I found a bridge rectifer with 4 poles.
Specs:
PO4 6A 400V Bridge Rectifier
Will this be okay for the midi box plus, the new version.

by 4 pole i ment 4 legs.
What i didnt notice is that they all had 4 legs, and i couldnt work out why.
I have a wallwart adapter rated at 12v and 1000mA.
Should I look for a rectifier that has 0.5A rating as 1000mA might be too much?

The four legs are right.
Two of them have a squiggly line over them. Put the AC in here.
The other two have a + and - .
This is the voltage output from the diodes which live inside the rectifier.
Have a look at any of the power supply circuits and you will see what I mean.
The wallwart will be fine.
