MIDIbox SEQ V2 is a pretty old software, it won’t be supported anymore.
Why are you not upgrading to at least V3 (which is better documented)?
Anyhow, MBSEQ V2 is good for any MIDI device - but the possibilities are very restricted compared to V3 (or V4 of course)

Yes a midibox seq v4 will work with a db50xg. In any case the seq v4.075 with an lpc17 core. I built a db50xg into a midio128 controller. Software in the programming forum.
