MIDIBox for a video edit-Adobe Premiere or similar

Hey,

•      Whether perhaps  to operate not only MIDI, but also other programs, for example programs/through COM/USB / for a video edit-Adobe Premiere and others similar, in fact there there are same necessary for management Play/Stop/Rec/FF/RW, Cut, Cross, Transition, and other functions assigned to buttons and encoders/faders. It would be very conveniently - have in one device management of all equipment audio-video-midi? Whether  software solution is necessary here or are necessary and hardware additions and solutions?

I think you’ll need some kind of drivers/remapping software in order to transform midi messages for host application…

There is great example of non-audio use of midibox on Thorsten’s midibox gallery page - a guy made mb just to control his graphic software.
