MIDIbox CV software with AOUT_LC?

Hello all,

I’d like to know whether the “MIDIbox CV” software posted on the web site also works with the new AOUT_LC module – or is there a new version of the software for the new module? If so, I would dump the AOUT PCB I bought from Mike’s MIDIshop (anyone wanna buy it? ;)) and get an AOUT_LC instead, so I wouldn’t have to buy the expensive DACs …

I need the module for a simple MIDI-to-CV interface to control an analog monophonic synthesizer with a MIDI keyboard (just the pitch). I assume the AOUT_LC is good enough for this – right?

the aout LC is still in beta so we have to wait for full implementation; but i fink it’s commin  ;D

look some more in the forum for news/progress. if you don’t want the aout pcb anymore i think i want it.

but i’ll get back to you on that.

Still in beta? Mike is already offering the PCB and kit in his MIDIshop …  ???

hi;

beta; as in the layout has been given for people who allready wanna use it in for example MBSID, but it’s documentation isn’t on the main site (only some info scattered around the forum)–>probably it’s not completely finished 

but anyway i think that in future AOUT_LC can be used instead of AOUT anywhere>its going to be a low cost replacement

MBCV will support the AOUT_LC interface sooner or later.

The hardware is final (PCB layout frozen, no changes planned)
