could someone explain me how the gate outputs behave when using AOUT module? There are two outputs on AOUT, presumably Gate1 and Gate2. If I want all 8 gates, J5 on the core module must be enabled. So does this J5 then have only the remaining 6 gates or all the 8 gates?
I am not sure about the setup with the “regular” AOUT module, but with an AOUT_NG all 8 gates are on the J5 pins, and I’d assume you’ll have the same behaviour with your setup.

Actually I “kind of” found it out already, by checking out this one single board MIDIbox CV solution (there seems to have been a <___base_url___>/index.php?/topic/10853-midibox-cv-pcb-coreaoutdinx1bankstick-2-x-max525/&do=embed earlier this year). All the gate outs seem to be connected to the PIC, so this probably is a proper way to do it.
Actually I’m going to design and build something like that, a single board CV box, but I might make some custom mods to it.
