Excuse me first for my english :).
I’ve made an midibox 64, and my problem is that only pots wired to input 2 & 3 of my 4051 are working well. The other does not respond any more.
It like that on every 4051 (I’ve 16 pots on 64 that works).
I’ve been looking for a solution for 4 days, and i begin to stress >:(.
If anyone could help me…
thanks…
ps: I’ve post some photos of the front panel on french forum
Hello ToFic!!!
I went to see your photos but they did not show up!
I am unsure of what to do without looking at your board.
First thing:
Check Pins 15-18 and make shure wiring is correct.
Check wiring on your 4051’s
Check your potentiometers to make shure they are working
Send me a picture and I might be able to help you out some more.
Is anything else acting funny?

I can’t put on my photos cause i’ve no place to, i would like to upload them on the forum server but it seems to be impossible.
I forget to say my midibox is an old generation :“midibox64_pcb_greg6” all in one.

What do the pots send? Do they send random values, just zero or just the maximum?

Working pots have good values (0 => 127), the other does not send any value.

Just to make sure the problem is on the AIN module: Pull it of the core and touch the jumper on the core (the ins for the AIN) with your finger. The values should jump up and down and make weird things.
Then you at least can be sure its the AIN.
If so: Clamp the *functioning* inputs to ground and try again with the other pot Ins (a trimmer between 0 and 5V should be handy there).
/edit: Did you check the voltages of the not-functioning pots? What´s their value?

I’ll test PIC inputs this WE. It’s very strange, 2 & 3 inputs work very well.
Thanks for your help, i tell you about later.
