Hi,
when I have an LTC module (without the MAX IC stuffed) attached to the Core, MIDI does not work at all (monitoring with MIOS Studio). As soon as I pull the module everything starts to work immediately.
When starting the setup with LTC attached, only one LED flashes briefly (maybe only because of inrush current?).
Looking at the schematics, LTC does not do anything complicated, and the Core pins are not reassigned for different functions. What could be going wrong?

sounds like MI and MO are swapped - a 1:1 connection is required:
MBHP_LTC::J1:VS to MBHP_CORE::J11:VS
MBHP_LTC::J1:MI to MBHP_CORE::J11:MI
MBHP_LTC::J1:MO to MBHP_CORE::J11:MO
MBHP_LTC::J1:VD to MBHP_CORE::J11:VD

It wasn’t the cable, it was probably a cold solder joint or a short on the LTC PCB, cause tonight I reflowed all joints and scratched away the residu between the traces and now it’s working fine 
This was probably the first PCB I ever soldered, and did it with an iron the size of a decent screwdriver, so I’m not surprised at all that it was not up to par.
