I need a new midi interface, um the serial one aint too good, and also i don’t think that it works with the latest update of pro-tools either.
So anyway i was thinking of ebaying a midisport 4x4 or something similar. Has anyone got one? are they alright, or is there something similar that i can diy without soldering smd pins right?

I have the 2 x 2 midiman and am very happy with it, i think they make good stuff.
(also have the 1 x 1 aka ‘usb keystation 49’, and it works fine)

Something similar: The UCApps Midi Int you find on UCApps.de, but that´s with SMD soldering (which is not *TOO* hard after some training with old soundcards ;)). It´s pretty the same to the Midisport 2x2, if you email TK and ask him about that, he´ll tell you why? *BIG ;)

Anyhow, I also got a Midisport 4x4 and I can absolutely recommend it! It´s really a good one! Never had probs up to now.
